Gaularfjellet

Take the mountain bus depart at the bus stop (blue sign) close to the hotel 10:00. Coaching along  the 2 small fjords called Sværefjord and Vetlefjord, about 20 minutes before a lovely break at “Utsikten” with a very good view showing all the 9 curves up to the top. Stop the bus, ask the driver may be to get off at the parking place for ‘Torsnesstølen’.

We pass the mountain lake “Nystølsvatnent” and stop at the parking place for the hiking route. Follow red markets to “Torsnesstølen”, walking along the lake “Sværeskarsvatnet” before turning down on the stones of the “Sværeskaren”.

Following road tracks passing farms of Sværen down to the main road by the fjord.  Pick up the mountain bus on it’s way back from Førde, passing your place in Sværen at around 16:00 (4pm).
